Tourism Squamish is a community destination marketing organization (DMO). Our goal in the broadest sense is to increase tourism to Squamish and build awareness of Squamish as a tourist destination.

Tourism Squamish works collaboratively with partners and leverages its resources effectively to execute strategic marketing, sales and customer service programs that deliver both more visitors and higher yield visitors to Squamish throughout the year. We provide industry leadership locally and we create awareness within our community of the value of tourism and the products and services that we offer to our visitors.

Our Objectives:

The Squamish Sustainability Corporation administers tourism expansion, business development, the Adventure Centre, The Squamish Store and other special projects that foster sustainability for the Community.

By leveraging lifestyle and location, we passionately steward innovation in collaboration with stakeholders to foster a culture of diversity, opportunity and sustainability.

Is made up of the Mayor and Councilors of the District of Squamish: Rob Kirkham (Chair), Greg Gardner, Patricia Heintzman, Paul Lalli, Corinne Lonsdale, Doug Race.

The role of the Business Development Office is to encourage and facilitate economic expansion within the District of Squamish. At the same time, its goal is to provide employment opportunities for Squamish residents by facilitating development of a strong economy and business community. The Office acts as a catalyst to bring together people, ideas and capital, ultimately leading to economic development and diversification. It also assists companies considering expansion or relocation in Squamish, by providing a range of services, including information on available land or premises, government programs, and facts and figures that may be useful in arriving at the right location decision.

The Squamish Adventure Centre is the Gateway to the Sea to Sky region, it is a Welcome Centre surpassing any of its kind; a destination exhibit that will engage; architecture that inspires.

The Squamish Adventure Centre was developed through a collaborative operating philosophy – one where partners in the building promote their respective sectors throughout Squamish. In this way, the Centre acts as a hub to effectively market all of Squamish.
